Three lines, not one winner
I read the Eden-NX2 release dated 29 Oct 2026, the Eglantine build 212 notes dated 4 Nov 2026, and the Lichii build 93 notes dated 6 Nov 2026. Eden-NX2 is a Windows package. Eglantine and Lichii publish Windows, Linux, and Apple silicon macOS archives.
TweakTown reports Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza starting on Eden-NX2. The release itself describes experimental integration and missing meshes, without naming games. These are separate source claims. Eglantine's own note for Mario Kart World 1.8.0 stops at the title screen, around 30 frames per second. I do not treat a boot as playable.
The 8 GB VRAM and 16 GB RAM figures belong only to the Eden-NX2 release text. Eglantine and Lichii did not publish a CPU or GPU floor, so those cells stay empty on the requirements page.
Where to go next
Status keeps the dated timeline. The emulator list is the full project table. Games is the cross-project compatibility grid. Official builds sends you to each project's own release page and nowhere else.

FAQ
Is there a Switch 2 emulator?
Yes, as experimental desktop builds. Eden-NX2, Eglantine, and Lichii all published archives between 29 Oct and 6 Nov 2026. A stable everyday build is not in those notes.
Can I play in the browser?
No project here runs a commercial game inside a web page. Pages that offer an online Switch 2 are interface toys, not emulators.
