S2 SWITCH 2 EMULATOR Official builds

Privacy policy

This policy matches the scripts on the page. Analytics, session recording and ads load on the first view; choosing Reject turns them off and the choice is remembered for 180 days.

What loads when a page opens

The HTML, CSS, fonts and images are served from this site. Three third parties are requested by the page itself on the first view: Google Analytics 4 (measurement id G-FP6SX59CLX), Microsoft Clarity (project id z9ui56vlfo) and Adsterra (publisher 3403020, website 6182127, two ad units).

Nothing waits for an Accept click. The banner in the corner is a notice and a withdrawal control: it records your choice in localStorage under s2e-consent for 180 days, and choosing Reject saves the choice and reloads the page with analytics, recording and advertising loaders disabled. Requests already sent cannot be recalled. The Cookie settings button in the footer opens the banner again so you can change the choice.

If the browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the site treats that as Reject: the record is written as denied, the banner stays dismissed, and the three third-party loaders do not run. No request is made to anyone just to read that signal.

Google Analytics 4

GA4 runs on every page view with the Google tag (gtag.js) loaded from www.googletagmanager.com and measurement id G-FP6SX59CLX. The tag sends page views, sessions and basic device information to google-analytics.com and the regional analytics endpoints. Google holds the reports in GA4 property 563150643, which belongs to this site.

The first-party cookies _ga (a random client id, kept about 2 years) and _ga_FP6SX59CLX (session state, about 2 years) are written on the first view. Consent Mode v2 defaults to analytics_storage granted, with ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization denied and ads_data_redaction enabled. Only an Accept click grants the advertising signals. Reject sets all four signals to denied, disables this GA4 measurement ID and reloads without the Google tag. Google account retention is controlled in the property settings; this page does not assert an unverified retention setting.

We use the reports to count readership and improve these guides. Reject is the site-wide withdrawal control. Google's description of the data it processes for Analytics is at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245. Browser-level blocking or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on also stops the tag.

Microsoft Clarity

Microsoft Clarity records heatmaps and session replays so we can see which sections of a guide readers skip. The loader is created on the first view from www.clarity.ms and scripts.clarity.ms with project id z9ui56vlfo; reports go to *.clarity.ms. Clarity masks text entered into form fields by default, and this site has no account form, so keystrokes and typed text are not captured.

Clarity writes the first-party cookies _clck (about 1 year, a project-scoped id) and _clsk (about 1 day, session stitching), where used by the service. Microsoft controls service retention; see its linked documentation for current details; Reject, Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track keeps the tag off the page entirely, so no Clarity cookie is written.

Adsterra advertising

Adsterra serves the two ad units on this site: an in-feed Native Banner (unit 32139342) and a floating Social Bar (unit 32139343). The unit loaders are created on the first view from bicea.org, and the creatives fill from Adsterra's own domains. The publisher account is held directly in our name, publisher id 3403020, and the dashboard's "show adult ads" switch is off, so this site does not request adult advertising.

Adsterra receives the page URL, your IP address, browser and device information, and what you do with an ad, so it can serve and measure advertising. It may set its own cookies or local storage on adsterra.com and the creative hosts for frequency capping, fraud prevention and measurement, and it may serve interest-based ads. Adsterra controls that retention; its policy is linked in Sources below. We do not receive the identifiers it stores.

To limit interest-based advertising in your browser, use Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com), the DAA opt-out (https://optout.aboutads.info) or Your Online Choices (https://www.youronlinechoices.com). The direct opt-out on this site is Reject in the banner, which removes the ad loaders instead of only switching them to non-personalized mode. The network loads by default under the withdrawal behavior described above; a first visit is not recorded as an Accept click.

Cookies, localStorage and retention

The site code stores its choices in localStorage; the vendors listed below may write first-party cookies. It keeps two kinds of local state in your browser: the consent record and, if you hide the floating ad bar, a note that it was closed. Both stay on your device and are never sent to our server. Deleting them is done in your browser by clearing site data for switch2emulator.xyz.

Your choices and rights

Reject in the banner is the site-wide opt-out: it removes GA4, Clarity and Adsterra from the page and is remembered for 180 days. Cookie settings in the footer lets you change the choice at any time, and Accept reloads the page with the three integrations enabled. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are honoured as Reject.

You can ask for a description of this processing, object to it, or ask us to stop using the contact inbox for a thread, by emailing [email protected]. Because the consent record never reaches our server, deleting it is done in your browser. For data Adsterra or Google holds, use the links above; you may also complain to your local data-protection authority. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

FAQ

Do you load analytics and ads before I choose?

Yes. GA4, Microsoft Clarity and the two Adsterra units load on the first view. The banner tells you so, and Reject turns them off and is stored for 180 days. Nothing is held back until an Accept click.

Which ad network is on the site?

Adsterra only, publisher 3403020: an in-feed Native Banner (unit 32139342) and a floating Social Bar (unit 32139343). Adult ads are switched off. The seller line in ads.txt is adsterra.com, 3403020, DIRECT.

How do I turn the floating bar off?

Use Hide ad bar on the bar itself. That stores s2e-adbar-closed in localStorage and the bar stays away on later pages. Reject in the banner removes it too, along with analytics and recordings.
