Axiom
A Reddit title calls Axiom a hoax. The thread itself returned an access error when this research was collected, so I only have the title. I found no official repository or release. That is one source, and the status stays at one source.
Malware wearing an emulator name
Noobfeed reported on 30 Oct 2026 that a NordVPN write-up found GitHub projects posing as a PlayStation 5 emulator, with the headline also naming Switch 2. The described payload changes Defender exclusions. PCMag wrote about fake Switch emulator scams in 2017. That older story shows the pattern, and it is not evidence about a 2026 Switch 2 binary.
Red flags I actually use: a demand to turn off antivirus, a paid 'premium' APK, no forge repository, a promise of 4K at 120 frames, and a zip hosted somewhere other than the project's release page.
