S2 SWITCH 2 EMULATOR Official builds

Mario Kart World on Switch 2 emulators

The densest notes belong to Eglantine and Lichii, and they do not describe the same moment of the game. TweakTown reports an early Eden-NX2 session; that release itself does not name the game.

Retail facts, then the builds

Nintendo's store page lists Mario Kart World for Switch 2, released 5 Jun 2025, with a US digital price of $79.99 when checked on 7 Nov 2026. Emulator notes talk about version 1.8.0, update 917504.

Eglantine build 212 says the NUP fix selects a 12 GiB layout and a 31.25 MHz clock, and that the title screen is about 30 frames per second. That is a maintainer measurement of a menu, not a Grand Prix.

Lichii build 70 adds a 30 FPS mode and a dynamic FPS option under Graphics, Advanced. On an M4 Pro the race notes move from about 9.5 frames per second to about 30–38. TweakTown, writing about the Eden-NX2 launch, says the game can be played with frequent stutters, poor speed, and visual bugs. I am not averaging 30 and 38 into a single score.

Issue 21, closed, describes a graphics-memory leak that can climb past 15 GB and then consume whatever is left. Issue 234, open, describes missing textures and a Grand Prix crash on an Intel UHD machine with 8 GB. Eden-NX2 has no game-specific frame-rate number or named-game boot claim in its release; the named-game report is TweakTown's.

FAQ

How do I make Mario Kart World faster?

The written knobs are the 30 FPS mode and dynamic FPS in Lichii build 70, plus a current Vulkan driver. There is no doubled-speed setting in the notes.

Which build is ahead?

For a title screen with a written layout fix, Eglantine 212. For a race note on an M4 Pro, Lichii 70. They are not the same test.
