Switch 2 emulator requirements
Only Eden-NX2 printed a memory floor. Copying that floor onto Eglantine or Lichii would be my invention, so I left their cells empty.
What each project actually printed
Eden-NX2 asks for Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, a Vulkan GPU with 8 GB of VRAM or more, 16 GB of RAM or more, and the Visual C++ x64 runtime. That sentence is in the 29 Oct release.
Eglantine build 212 runs on Windows, Linux, and macOS 15 or newer on Apple silicon. The Linux AppImage wants glibc 2.39 or newer. The Mac zip is unsigned. CPU and GPU minimums are absent.
Lichii build 93 uses the same desktop trio. Its older build 70 notes say DLSS is in the Windows MSVC package only. Android figures further down the table come from the discontinued Eden SX2A port, not from Lichii.
| Project | OS | GPU / VRAM | RAM | Other |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Eden-NX2 | Windows 10/11 64-bit | Vulkan, 8 GB+ | 16 GB+ | VC++ x64 |
| Eglantine 212 | Windows, Linux, macOS 15+ | glibc 2.39+; Mac arm64 unsigned | ||
| Lichii 93 | Windows, Linux, macOS 15+ | DLSS on Windows MSVC only | ||
| Eden SX2A | Android 13+ | Qualcomm Adreno | 16 GB (12 GB small games) | Port discontinued |
Boot, play, stable
A boot means a commercial game process started. A title screen is not a race. In-game means someone reached gameplay in a named build. Playable means more than one note describes a session that continues. Stable is unused on this site until a project claims a locked experience and a second source agrees.

FAQ
Can my PC run a Switch 2 emulator?
Compare your GPU with Eden-NX2's 8 GB VRAM line if you are installing that build. Eglantine and Lichii did not publish an equivalent line.
Is 8 GB of VRAM a universal rule?
No. It is Eden-NX2's rule. The other two projects left the cell empty.
