Donkey Kong Bananza on PC
Two routes show up in public notes: emulator builds that still miss terrain, and NXNative's native recompile on Mac. They are not the same kind of 'it runs'.
Emulator notes
The Nintendo store page dates the game to 17 Jul 2025 with a US digital price of $69.99 when checked on 7 Nov 2026. Lichii build 70 says a crash after cutscenes was fixed and stutter dropped, and that the game runs well without a locked 60. That is the maintainer's wording. I am not upgrading it to a 60 frame claim.
Issue 202, open, says terrain is white or black on builds 70 and 75 and looked normal on build 65, on an RTX 4060 laptop with 8 GB. Issue 30 describes a black Donkey Kong. TweakTown says Eden-NX2 can run the game and does not reach 60 frames. No Eden-NX2 frame count was printed.
Native recompile
NXNative's readme includes Donkey Kong Bananza among its named Mac Switch 2 games. A VideoCardz headline mentioning 60 frames could not be opened, so that number stays out. There is no Mac model or quality preset attached to a verified count.

FAQ
Should I use the emulator or NXNative?
On Windows, the notes are Lichii and Eden-NX2. On a Mac, NXNative is a different technique with its own file requirements. Compare the pages, not a single score.
Why is the terrain missing?
Issue 202 ties white or black terrain to builds 70 and 75 and says build 65 looked normal on that laptop.
