Ocarina of Time remake on Switch 2 builds
This is the most annotated game in the Lichii notes, and the numbers still belong to specific PCs. The official project's community tracker aggregates changing user reports; those reports do not replace the dated build notes.
Build by build
Nintendo's US store dates the Switch 2 edition of Ocarina of Time to 5 Nov 2026. I am not repeating any pre-release leak, and I am not linking a dump. Compatibility starts at Lichii's tags.
Build 75 says the game boots, clears the intro, and can be played, after an earlier abort around 20 seconds. The notes credit a 64-bit wait-on-address fix. Outdoors, a Ryzen 5900X with an RTX 3080 is listed at 12–22 frames per second, with fog and bloom heavier than the writer wanted.
Build 83 fixes vegetation, sky ambient light, glowing doors, a single-frame white flash, and AMD machines rendering a black 3D scene. Max Resolution turns on by default. Build 88 turns on Dark's Dynamic FPS mod by default and warns that correct speed is not guaranteed. The suggested CPU clock is Normal.
Open issues around those builds include crashes after 5–20 minutes, a hang when closing the window, a freeze in a castle-town room, a CPU limit near 29 frames per second, green AV1 cutscenes on AMD, and audio drift. The official tracker showed 99 game reports in the review snapshot and separately carried an M4 Pro note at 12–13 frames with DEVICE_LOST. This is a changing, self-selected sample rather than an independent benchmark or a count of all players.

FAQ
What settings are actually written down?
Max Resolution defaults on in build 83. Build 88 defaults a dynamic FPS mod and suggests CPU Clock set to Normal. That is the list I have.
Is 12–22 FPS the Mac result?
No. 12–22 is the 5900X and RTX 3080 outdoor note. The M4 Pro note is 12–13 plus DEVICE_LOST.
