S2 SWITCH 2 EMULATOR Official builds

Star Fox on Switch 2 emulators

Star Fox has the loudest conflict on this site: a 30 frame cap, a later 60 frame sentence, and an issue that says the player never reaches gameplay.

Three readings, none deleted

Lichii build 70 says the game went from a black screen to something that renders, that HID command 300 brings controller input, that DLSS uses a de-jitter path, and that gameplay is capped around 30 frames per second. The same notes say RTX 50 cards, including a 5070 Ti and a 5090, can lose the device after a scene change.

Build 75's notes say gameplay is 60 frames instead of 30. Issue 105 says that on build 75 the game still does not reach gameplay and hits a userspace panic about 29 seconds in, with debug buffer code 40299. Issue 105 also says nx2_sysmix accepts only about 70.32 percent of the mixer output, which is the robotic audio report, and the issue is open.

Issue 85 describes a crash before the training mission on RTX 50 cards and suggests driver 610.88. A DSOGaming story was behind a challenge page, so I am not citing its headline as a second lab.

I will not pick 30 or 60. Anyone summarizing this game as '60 FPS on Eglantine' is ahead of the tickets I read. The tickets name Lichii builds.

FAQ

Is Star Fox 30 or 60?

Both numbers are in Lichii's own notes, and issue 105 says build 75 still panics before gameplay. Keep all three.

Does Eglantine load it?

The detailed notes I could read are Lichii build notes and issues. I am not assigning Eglantine a status from a headline I could not open.
